Securities and Exchange Commission, the regulator of the capital market in Ghana, on Friday 8th January, 2021 has issued a warning to the general public waning them to desist from doing business with unlicensed products.
In the statement, “The General Public is hereby put on notice that CHY CENTURY HENG YUE GROUP LIMITED/SAIRUI E-COMMERCE GHANA LIMITED have not been licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to carry out any Capital Market activity including investing or trading for returns’.
The simply means anyone doing business with them is doing it at their own risk which means you have nobody to report to when the said business refuses to repay your investment or returns or both.
This statement came 10 months after The Finance Focus Analyst Team( a student based investment analysts on campus), 10 months ago published an article questioning the model Chy mall is using as an investment.
