Mark-Market Valuation: It involve recording the price or value of a security or portfolio to reflect the current market value rather than book value. Is used in financial markets in order to show the current and fair market value of investment such as mutual funds.

STOCK MARKET FOCUS: Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) Composite Index lost -5.17 point yielding a return of -0.21% Yield-To-Date (YTD).

The benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) at the end of this week lost 5.17 point to close at 2,438.74 showing a YTD return of -0.21% as two (2) stocks recorded gainer during this week and two (2) also recorded loser.  

The Market Capitalization at the close of this week increased by GH₵21.44million to close trading at GH₵64.6billion.

A total of 0.264million shares valued at 0.430million traded this week; an increase of 112.79% in volume traded and -79.27% decrease in value traded as compared to the previous week.

CAL recorded most trades, representing 53.65% in total volume and but EGH recorded 53.43% in total value traded during this week.
